Cycling Tours have become a valuable addition to the what to do in Bali list for many tourists.
Cyclist are discovering Bali in a big way. The back roads of the island more than make up for the traffic-clogged streets of the south.

The main benefit of touring Bali by bike is the quality of the experience. By bicycle, you can be totally immersed in the environment - you can hear the wind rustling in the rice paddies or the sound of a Gamelan (traditional Balinese orchestra) practicing, and catch the scent of the flowers. Even at height of the tourist season, cycle tourers on the back roads experience the friendliness that seems all but lost in the usual tourist circuit. Once you get away from the congested south, the roads are more relaxed and the experience sublime.

The best place to start a cycling tour in Bali is Kintamani, a perfect place to have a small breakfast (coffee or tea and fried banana) and enjoy the view of Mount Batur and the lake below before beginning your journey. Before arriving in Kintamani, our guides will take you to a traditional coffee plantation where you can try several types of Balinese coffee. Also, at these plantations guests are invited to try the most expensive coffee in Bali which is called "Coffee Luak"(A coffee bean produced by animal).

This what to do in Bali activity will cost you approximately US$ 25 to $45 depending on the number of people in your group and the company you choose. The whole trip usually takes around 5-6 hrs and is finished with a Balinese cuisine buffet lunch at the end of the trip.

Cycling is great way to see a unique side of Bali and is a must for anyone wishing to experience authentic Balinese village life.

Have a great cycling tour in Bali!
